Description
Cauliflower in air fryer with lemon and cumin is a bold, quick, and healthy side dish. Crispy outside, tender inside—with bright citrus and deep spice flavors.
Ingredients
1/2 head cauliflower cut into florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
1. Fill a pot with water and bring to the boil. Add the cauliflower florets and blanch for 2 minutes. Pour into a colander and place the cauliflower onto a clean towel and pat dry.
2. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
3. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil to a mixing bowl. Add garlic, cumin, salt and pepper.
4. Toss the cauliflower into the seasoned oil. Spread out into a lined air fryer basket. Roast for about 15 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Roast until golden with crispy edges.
5. Place back into a bowl, toss in lemon juice and season to taste.
Notes
Be sure to pat cauliflower completely dry before seasoning.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
Toss with lemon juice right after cooking for maximum flavor.
